Mayfair Town Watch is actively recruiting new members! We currently have an amazing group of dedicated people who are the “eyes and ears” of Mayfair!
We are looking for both: patrolling members (who physically patrol the streets of Mayfair on patrol days) and “block watch” members, who watch their block and report any issues on regular basis. Our goal is to have one “block watch” member for EVERY block and one “patrolling” member for every street in our boundaries!
In order to become a certified member of Mayfair Town Watch, you will be required to attend a 2 hour training and certification class provided by TWIS-Town Watch Integrated Services, a department of City of Philadelphia. In addition, you will be required to attend 1 hour training and orientation class presented by Mayfair Town Watch on in-house policies and procedures.
Our NEXT certification class is scheduled for February 4, 2013 from 7:00PM-9:00PM at the Mayfair Community Center, 2990 St. Vincent St.
You MUST RSVP for this class at mayfairtownwatch@gmail.com. We are required to have AT LEAST 5 people to hold the class.
